Thanks all. I am finding out all that is going on with it now. It is not in its prime, but hopefully it can be resurrected. Only has 97k original on it so I am hopeful that it can see a second life. I will try to get some pics up when I can. @Prafeston it is gold, but I am thinking of painting it a pearl white or dark purple black.

Mine's red, too bright for me.  I'm leaning towards topaz gold!  Have to say both white and black look great on the wagons.  Welcome and best of luck with the resto!  Sounds like you're well on your way.
Take my advice, I'm not using it...

Brentmo,  My 83 wagon is Aztec Gold.  Until recently, I had only seen it in pictures indoors with florescent lights.  The previous owner did provide a picture outdoors and I have to say the color is amazing outdoors in the natural light.

Thanks, Monkeyjoe.  I imagined a gold that would light up in the sun.  I bought an 83 Eagle sales brochure off e-bay.  It shows a Topaz Gold but not Aztec.  Do you know what years Aztec was available?  The colors don't show very true in print so I just ordered a 1983 Dupont paint chip set.  It has a lot more colors for AMC/Renault than were in the Eagle catalog. Do you have any pictures of your wagon?
