So I found another wheel that I think I like better than the last one.  Still 16 x 7, about 5.5" backspace.  Comes in chrome or silver.  Oh yea, they are made by American Eagle wheels.   ;D

I also discovered that Summit's website is very good for looking at wheels, and the prices are really good.

I've had 215/75/15's and now have 225/75/15 and had to trim some for the 215's a little more with the 225's and I have  a little lift up front.

I think I found the combo I am looking for what are the thoughts? may have to trim a little I think. issue may be that the smallest tire size available in this brand is 235/75/15

Most of the TJ/XJ stuff fits fine. Here's mine with a main leaf with the eyes cut off in #2 position and 235/75R15s on TJ rims.

Did you have to do much cutting on that combo?

Zoro

One thing to keep in mind is clearance between the rim and the steering knuckle. With the rims I'm running I can't run hammer on wheel weights or they'll hit, stick-ons only.

On the front fender where the mud flaps were I trimmed about 2 inches of extraneous stuff that I wouldn't have had to do if I had my new strut bushings put in ahead of time. The rear no longer touches, even with 1000 lbs in the back.
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!
