Where does this wire go (top of oil pressure sender)

This wire is attached to the top of the oil pressure sensor.

Where does it go and what is clipped into the green connector on the wire?

I'm not a mechanic.

The lead that clips to the top of the bell shaped sensor goes to the oil gauge in the shifter console.
