My '80 Wagon
« on: March 07, 2014, 04:14:52 PM »
Weather is getting warm and I've had a chance to look it over a couple times..

The front of the 258 block has 2 large holes in it, There is at least a gash in the oil pan. Only surface rust that I've been able to find. Passenger front fender has been dented slightly and has changed the way that the front lines up. All doors open like it just came off the lot. Has a frame mount hitch. Rear defrost and a wiper arm in one piece. Pod has been cut and an aftermarket radio installed Hood release is broken at the mount, not the pull.
Bumper end caps and flares are in great shape. Has AC but not known if it works..
This nicer wagon is what it appears will be getting the 4.0 and AW4 from the Cherokee. Not sure if I want to place the 231 in it also or keep the 119. I guess that depends if the 119 is working. Will load many many pictures of everything I can probably this weekend. This is not going to be a complete restore.

Is the hitch welded to the frame? That's how it was on my 80 wagon.

Not looked that close yet but I think so.  Makes me wonder about gear ratio..

This may be a very short project. Can't find the title and it had not been transferred yet.

Can you apply for a lost one?

The previous owner would have to if he didn't have it in his name yet.
