i am looking to replace the flexable lines on Eagle Eyes but none of the parts stores can seem to find one, so i was wondering if the lines off a Jeep Cherokee would work?

Bought all three from rockauto.  Decent price and quick shipping.

I also got a set from Rock auto.  all three for well under $100 plus shipping.  Actually, a buddy bought them for me.  I was laid off, and I've been helping him with his FC-170, and as a thank you, he bought me a set.

I didn't actually see the price he paid, but it was well under $100 Can.

well considering that i don't have a credit card (don't trust them) i probably wouldn't be able to get them from rock auto, but thank you anyways guys.

Go to Rock Auto's site and copy down the part numbers. There are 3 different brands listed. Someone has to be able to get them locally. Autozone lists them on their site. Front right 77306 Front left 77305 Rear 77269

I bought some from auto zone, close to the same as rock auto once you figure the shipping cost, they got them in the next day

No offense to anyone who works in the industry, but I go to the autoparts store armed with part numbers. It seems many times  I have to look at the screen with the clerk and help them do their job.

I've gone in with part numbers, and looked up similar year cars, Wranglers and CJs to get parts. Sometimes they exist and are just not matched up in their catalog correctly, other times the part gets a new number or is superseded and it just wasn't updated.

IIRC not all the front hoses are the same year to year. I know the calipers changed along with the hubs and knuckles between 80 and '83. I found out that Ford F100s ('81 I think?) used the same calipers so I bought hoses for them and planned to change the frame ends to match (they were slightly longer too) I did have a line on some calipers with slightly larger pistons but abandoned the search when I left NAPA.
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

Luckily I live in a small town and all the parts men and ladies know me as "that guy with all the AMC's"

I have had to train them a bit but they are willing to help me find the parts even if they have to cross reference things a few times to figure it out

But I agree with eaglefreek, a lot of times I go to the website and get all the part numbers before I go to the store

I also use rock auto a lot, my fridge is covered in their magnets
