correct me if im wrong, but are you compaining your lights are *too* bright? im not sure i see a problem here. make sure theyre aimed well, and then maybe point your drivers side one in a hair to get it out of oncomers faces, and be happy that you can actually see with a terrible sealed beam setup. ive never been happy with sealed beams but on the other hand, yellowed housings are no better.
and for what its worth, fixing corroded connectors is really a great way to make your headlights brighter. unless youre seeing more than 14 volts at the head light plug at which point id wonder how the regulator in your alternator is working, or more of not working
