Axle Bolt Size
« on: January 05, 2013, 01:50:53 PM »
I wanted to check the diff oil but I couldn't get the bolt out. I believe I need an allen wrench to unscrew it, but my biggest one was still too small. Anyone know what size it is? This is in a Concord with 2.53 gears.

Most of the ones I've seen have a 3/8" square head, so basically a 3/8" drive ratchet without any sockets on it should work. Similar to how a 1/2" drive breaker bar is used for the tensioner pulley.

Thanks everyone. Bought a 3/8 allen wrench today, and it fit perfectly.
