Source for new side moulding?

I thought I read a thread somewhere on this but I can't find it now.  Is there a source for new adhesive side moulding?  I'm looking for the one with the strip of chrome in the middle.

I don't know if there is an exact replacement but if you do a google search for auto trim or molding there is a lot of stuff out there and one might work for the Eagle.

Yeah, I think I started that thread, and it probably got deleted in the great delete.
I couldn't find anywhere that makes the exact trim, but some sites have ones that are close, but would require to convert all of the trim over to match.
There was also a thread on a good technique to restore your old trim providing you have all the original trim.

I restored mine to an extent, by taking the pieces where the chrome was faded or peeling, then removed the chrome from the center of the trim. I found a stainless steel foil with adhesive backing that fits pretty well where the chrome went. Then I stuck it in on after cleaning the trim, and trimmed down the edges with an x-acto knife. Was pretty easy to do, and looks just about stock. The foil is pretty sturdy and you can find it at most auto parts stores, it's made by 3M. I may have to change it in a few years, but it has worked a looked fine for almost 3 years now.

I searched a number of places locally and online and couldn't find anything close.  Eventually what I did find was about a 1/2 inch wide black curved molding, a 1/2 inch wide curved chrome molding and I laid down one strip of black, put a chrome underneath it, and laid down another strip of black.  It isn't exactly right but looks reasonably close:

Unfortunately I'm missing a piece or two.  The chrome is the ugliest part.

Yeah, that is a good solution priya.
I thought about using the 1/2 wide chrome strip inside the original molding, but it stuck out too far for my taste, so that's why I opted with the foil tape.
Though it would work well for the chrome strips on the bumper end caps.

Thanks TLC87Eagle and Vangremlin.  I hope someone else finds it works for them too but I haven't heard of anyone else trying it yet.

I took the molding I have left to the local paint supply store.  They've guided me through most of this project.  The guy in charge recommended a chrome paint they stock that was used on a 380Z they recently restored.  It has a stainless to chrome appearance.  We tried a spray of it in the shop and I was very happy with the results.  At $3 a can, as long as I can get the rubber black again I'm happy to try it out.
