Transmission chatters in reverse
« on: April 15, 2012, 11:24:25 PM »
I rarely drive in reverse further than the length of a parking spot. However the other day i had to back out of my moms long drive and the transmission made a loud chattering sound and was kind of jerky. I know standard transmissions often make a whine when driven in reverse but this sounded more ominous. I this normal or do I need to start scraping up for my ax15 conversion sooner than I expected?....yes it is the much love SR4.

Thanks
Shane

My sr4 is awesome behind my stroker. believe me it gets a workout. with mudding and speeds they tear apart ujoints. just saying don't blame the tranny for what someone started rumoring as bad.

never had those problems btw. nothing happens similarly in a forward gear
