The older switch had a pull down thing and a switch that went right to left. It also says on the switch something about needing to stop to switch into 4x4.

It's hard to read in this picture, but this is the only photo I could find of the switch on google images.



Thanks, apparently the writing is worn off in my car, but it does have the pull-down switch.

If you convert the front axle to permanently engaged then you can remove the snap ring and pin to make it shift on the fly.

I want to put either a Toyota or Nissan diesel in my MJ. Or maybe a VW 1.9 or Peugeot diesel. I'm so fickle! LOL! There is a Peugeot diesel in AK that's being advertised here in Seattle
