Keyless entry

How can I tell if my 87 Limited has/had remote keyless option?  Is there a receiver or extra relay?  No "fob" was with the car when recently bought. :amc:
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean everyone's  NOT out to get you! :amc:

There would be a module with an IR receiver on the ceiling in between the 2 sun visors.

So far, every example of keyless entry I've ever seen or heard of has been on a 1985 model.  That's not to say that it wasn't available in other years, because it may have been.  Just my own observation.

According to the annual AMC dealer Eagle ordering guides, the $105 keyless entry system (option code 862) was available for the 1985 through 1987 model years.
