yeah the doors are easy enough to get into, i had the same problem, but when i opened the doors up the handles where actually snapped.... hope yours are not like that.

Yup that heater valve could be a problem. AMC Eagles have a heater that works a lot more bettern then need it for the vehicle. Some members have made the comment that they don't even need to turn on there heater in the winter time. If I remember correct IowaEagle had a post on how the fix the original heater valve.

Yeah the AMC Heaters will sweat you out when you need then too, and when you don't.

IIRC, Jurjen sent me a how to on how to repair when my heater was stuck on.
