Welding: what to unplug or remove before

I can't remember what needs to be done before welding on the Eagle. As in, what needs to be unplugged versus what needs to be removed from the Eagle to ensure they can't get zapped during welding.

I've always just unhooked the battery, that goes for any vehicle, though.

remove the negitive battary terminal or just remove the entire battary to be extra safe

Nope, should have no consequence with the battery unhooked, but if you want, you can unplug the ecm if it will give you the extra piece of mind. I've welded on my jeep for years with no ill effects by just unhooking the battery.

I've never had an issue welding on any vehicle, as long as the battery is unplugged.

if you do happen to fry the ecm it would make a good excuse to do the ECM Test
