thermostat temp

thinking of going with a lower temp thermostat, can anyone tell me the stock temp is for the thermostat?

Yup. Eagles aren't know for overheating if the radiator and cooling system are in good shape and if filled with a 50-50 mix of antifreeze and water. The 258 wants to run at this temperature. Personally, I would not advise a lower temperature thermostat. :eagle:

Fuel economy goes down when running colder.
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!
