Well if you want instant grab, go locker, a LSD is just that, "limited" it's better than open but not much.
Maybe than the factory unit.
My Eaton grabs instantly.

Both black lines are the exact same length... Acts exactly like the fulltime posi in my uncle's Nova... except around corners
My truck you can tell it takes a while to kick on from the lines...but it's probably getting worn out.. new it worked pretty good.
