Long Time Fan

I've been a long time fan of the AMC Eagle, though I've never actually driven one...or even been inside of one the concept of a 4x4 Station Wagon/Car has always intrigued me. They may not be the prettiest things on the road, but they sure do have character. Been reading up on them a bit and considering one as my next vehicle. I'm big into hatches/wagons and I used to want a K5 Blazer...the Eagle just seems like the happy middle ground! :)

First car was an '89 Cavalier Station Wagon. Then I bought an '89 Dodge Daytona. Then a '02 Ford Focus ZX3. Then a '96 Ford Ranger. And now I'm currently driving my first ever financed vehicle and I love it, but I'm just tired of the payments. It's a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3.

So here I am to do some research and hopefully once I get the Speed3 sold have an Eagle of my own.

Yes, I'm aware of the other body styles. The SX/4 is really cool looking car, but I've always enjoyed the extra room of the 4 door wagons. I wouldn't turn down an SX/4 or Kammback if I found one for a good price. They are all cool unique cars. I actually just recently found out about the Kammback and I must say I had to laugh when I first saw it. Gremlin with 4x4. Classic!

I really hope I can find a decent Eagle relatively close to me when the time comes. I've already contacted two kind of local ones via craigslist, but I'm afraid they have been sold as the ads were about a month old and neither one has gotten back to me.

Welcome to the nest!

Depending on what you want to spend (now or later) there are some really sweet rides for sale in our classifieds.

there's these to choose from:

I know it would depend on where you live, but that's a showing of the first 5 in the classifieds here.  Just those 5... there are some pretty sweet rides, and most likely, drive them away.   Now, I can't guarantee any of these cars, but there's alot there that look pretty damm good!  (That red one and blue woody, make my wanna sell my wife...)

Have you checked out anything from our classifieds section?  You might...

Yeah, I've already looked at most of the cars in the classifieds here. That's actually how I came across this site to begin with. The Bluish Grey one looks like the condition and price I'm looking for, but still quite the drive and I don't have the money yet. Need to sell my Speed 3 first! :)

that's awesome.  I wasn't sure if you'd seen it, but that's great that you looked.
