Pat AKA 1OldFordMan is a great guy.  I contacted him yesterday about checking out a Saturn mirror I found in St. Louis for $75.  He started to make plans to go check out the mirror tomorrow when we each stumbled upon another mirror that was the correct side, power and heated on the big auction site named after a body of water.  That led to various calls, texts and facebook messages throughout today and we ended up on the phone comparing 3 different mirrors.

We had exchanged texts and PM's many times, but this was the first time I remmeber talking to Pat.  He is a great guy.  I really appreciate him taking time to compare mirrors with me.  I think we found one I can use to fix the Saturn.

Pat, I really appreciate your help.  I'm sorry that it was a GM product you were helping, I know you are a Ford fan, but I really appreciate the help.  I owe you one.

Just got back on The Nest after a somewhat lengthy absence & found this. All I can say is thanks Brandon. As for the rest of you, ever heard "Don't believe everything you read"? Brandon is making a mountain out of less that a molehill. All I did was look at some pictures for him & give him my opinion on what color I thought it was. However he does owe me one, namely his Eagle when the wind blows him away after he loses all this weight  >:D. Congrats. on the weight loss Brandon. This one's for you  :occasion14:!

Thanks Pat.  Not everyone would drop what they're doing and help someone find a car part like you did though.
