New here, just picked up a 1985 Eagle Sedan
« on: October 22, 2022, 09:42:29 PM »
Always enjoyed these quirky vehicles, I used to own a 1979 Jeep J10 Honcho so it's not my first rodeo to the 258, but the AMC Eagle is certainly a lot different in it's own ways. This one here was a bit of an adventure to pick up. Saw this 85 Sedan and an 84 Wagon on Craigslist together up in Bozeman Montana, but by the time I called the Wagon was gone, so I put some money down and got a flight the next day. Flew on up, paid my dues, got some new tires and drove it down to West Yellowstone, through Yellowstone National Park along and then down287 to I-80 then zipped on home going East. It's got plenty of little Gremlins I need to fix and take care of, and not just from the parts AMC borrowed from the model line. Thankfully this place exists so I can figure out some of the odd quirks of this neat machine that constantly gets me looks and comments around my little town.

A little about the Eagle:
Factory Cruise
Factory AC
5 Speed Manual
258 I6

Thanks! It's certainly a blast to drive even with all the little quirks that need work!
