First Annual Back to the Future car show
« on: May 30, 2021, 09:14:25 AM »
I went yesterday, I figured there'd be a few Eagles since they used one in the movie. I saw a grand total (from the time I got there till Leg said "Enough!" & I left) of ONE ― the one I took! Guess nobody else was close. Cruddy weather, 50° & WET, then there was enough of a breeze to drop the "FEELS LIKE" temperature down 5° to "Feels Like" 45°! Not really raining, did get 1 or 2 drops. Just a gray & nasty looking day. Saw ONE AMC (that Eagle). I think it was a combination of things, this being their first one, the (lousy) weather, & the fact that Gateway Classic Cars was having one too about a half hour (maybe) away, closer to St. Louis. Did see a few nice Mustangs, couple T-Birds (one baby & one big). A Studebaker pickup that IF I overheard correctly was a Dogde Dakota or Durango under the Studebaker body. Couple nice Fairlanes, I parked next to a sharp '65. Here's pictures from the show if y'all wanna see them.

'83 AMC Eagle wagon 258/auto.
'84 AMC Eagle sedan (4 door) 258/auto.
PREVIOUS AMCs:
'72 Gremlin X 304/3 speed
'81 Eagle Kammback 258/4 speed (Purchased new)
'82 Eagle wagon 258/5 speed (Ordered new, traded Kammback)
'86 (I THINK) Eagle wagon - BlackBird 258/auto. (Got hit/totaled)
'83 Eagle wagon - White Eagle 258-auto. (Front subframe was rotted out - sold for parts)
