New to eagles
« on: February 28, 2019, 09:43:53 PM »
Hey guys, names Eric.  Just picked up an 85 wagon.  Dead stock.  Initial plan was build a fun gambler 500 car but we all love this funky little wagon.

So our plans changed a bit.  Still doing the gambler but going solid axle using some Cherokee axles.  Gonna link it and run coil springs up front.  Probably a 242 t case as we would like it to be full time 4x4 if possible.

Hoping for about 6" of lift and gonna run 33s likely gonna end up keeping it for a long time and eventually upgrading to a Dana 44 high pinion front and a 44 rear.  We will see.

I just have to say I love the shape and idea if these eagles.  AMC was way ahead of the curve here!
