Has anyone added power windows?
« on: March 01, 2018, 06:25:16 PM »
Hi all,

I've been stalking the forum for a while now. I'm currently searching for my first Eagle wagon, although I've wanted one for decades!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone ever added power window motors to their Eagle. I saw a few posts talking about cables snapping, but have you seen any aftermarket kits that, perhaps, bolt onto the manual crank, or just replace the whole mechanism?

I've passed up cars for sale because of the lack of power windows. My left arm is weak, due to a disability, and cranking, especially the driver-rear would be difficult. I do love working on cars, though, so projects don't scare me.

Thanks for the great site.

John
I have no idea why I wanted a thirty year old car so bad, but it is finally mine.

I bought a setup to add power windows and power locks a few years back but have never gotten around to installing it.  Since I was going to put it in my Kammback, it is only equipped for two power windows.  Let me try and track down where I got it from.  Thanks!
