Blaser Auto has 2 NOS hood release cables. They are his last two, and after that they are no more. I bought one. They are *gulp* $235. But if you're really bent on keeping your Eagle stock and that  :censored: cable isn't doing it's job...then give them a call. 309-764-3571 or blaserauto.com

You're not the only one, so don't feel too bad; I did the same with a set of NOS Eagle lower ball joints from Blaser a couple years ago. 

I won't even say how much I paid for those, but it was pretty horrendous and everyone would just say I was a moron.   :rotfl:
