Hello from Ohio!
« on: September 24, 2015, 10:56:45 PM »
Hey all! I was here awhile back when I had my '82 wagon, which I sold before I went on active duty orders in fall 2012 - regretted it ever since! I'm about to be the proud owner of an '85 and hope to get her picked up tomorrow evening. Pics to come and I look forward to getting back into one of the best forums out there.

Welcome. Unfortunately, the forum has had some ups and downs in the last few years and activity has been a low side lately, but lots of great info here.

I'm near Columbus. I got the Eagle picked up earlier this evening and home without any issues; had to put a new battery in to get it onto the trailer. I bought her without having heard the engine run  ::) but it seems to run fine. The PO thinks it had an electrical issue or bad alternator - seems to just be that. It has most of the usual issues associated with not being driven for awhile, but nothing major. It was too dark for many pics but I did get a couple, which I'll post tomorrow. Can't wait to get into it!
