Looking to replace the carpet in my kammback,

The from it actually not too bad but really smells like one million cigarettes. No offense if you smoke but if you don't it's really powerful, plus there are several burns

The back part is all faded and not nutmeg anymore,

You can get a complete set front and back for a gremlin, do you think it will work? Or is the hump that much bigger? I looked at my dads gremlin floor and it looks pretty close, the only difference seems to be where the tcase hump is.

Or, it looks like I could get an eagle front part and a gremlin back part separately, problem is it costs a little more to order it separate.

Anyone done this? Thanks

Yes, that's who I am looking at, as far as I know I think they make all the carpets and everyone else just sells theirs for them.

My question is more about if anyone had ever put a gremlin carpet set Ina. Kammback

I have not yet put new carpet in my Kammback.  Over the years of looking I don't think I've come across anybody that has a Kammback carpet set.  I think your solution of the half Eagle/half Gremlin set is the way to go.

I think the taller/wider trans hump in the Kammback is going to keep the Gremlin carpet from laying down in the wheel wells.  Is the Kammback carpet the same as an SX/4?  ACC sells carpet for the SX/4.  I bought it but the quality was terrible. Paid extra for the massback underpad and it was very thing/nonexistant in places, the carpet was poorly molded and they cut it too short at the front and it showed until I put in the optional package tray.

sorry to hear that. I just bought a carpet set from ACC for my 84 sedan, and the quality was good, and the cut was oversize, so there was plenty to trim around all 4 sides. got the optional underpad as well. gz

I would think the sx4 or even regular eagle carpet is probably all the same

Thanks for the tips!

The wagon and SX/4 are different.  There's a few extra inches in the rear seat footwell area for the wagon carpet.  Before ACC offered SX/4 carpet I bought wagon carpet (which was of much better quality then the subsequent SX/4 carpet I got) and cut out a few inches out of the rear footwell area and overlapped the two pieces in my SX/4.  It actually didn't fit too bad and sometimes I even think of pulling out the SX/4 specific carpet and putting in the two pieces of wagon carpet as it did fit better other than the cut.

I ended up getting the main carpet for a 2/4 door eagle, yes it's too long but it fit fine after trimming about a foot off the back, fits nice

I also got rear area carpet for a gremilin, as this is a kammback. This gives me the bottom part, the wheel wells and the back of the back seats

I think it's all going to,work nicely, hope to finish installing tomorrow

New carpet looks great and smells even better. Old carpet was nasty.....
