My Eagle seems to be running a bit ruff, and stalling at times in warm weather. It acts as if it is either an ignition issue (HEI), or vapor lock (vented gas cap, no vapor system). I will be installing a new OEM coil and module shortly.
Also, it is next to impossible to drive the car until it has reached full operating temperature, as it will stall as soon as it is put in gear (with current Motorcraft carb, as well as 2 old properly adjusted Carters). I believe it to be a faulty torque converter.
It also takes over a minute for the engine to run smoothly on its own during the first start of the day (have to use starting fluid. no fuel or pressure in fuel line). But this is most likely totally unrelated to the problems above.
