Fender flares
« on: September 26, 2014, 05:24:35 PM »
I'm in need of flares and bumpers for my sx4.   And a buddy of mine a few hours away has a sedan parts car wanting to sell me cheap.      I know the rocker pice would need trimmed. But would the rear fender flare mount up fine?

The profile of the sedan rear bumper end cap is dramatically different. If you are going to cut it down for use on your SX4 you will need to match the fender flare to the end cap. In other words if you have a stock SX4 bumper end cap you need the SX4 fender flare. If you cut down the sedan end cap to the proper length for the SX4, like I did with my Kammback, then you'll need the matching sedan fender flare as well as new holes for the top of the trim because it all has to shift a little bit to work.
