You can get those little ones, for home use, at  any big box store.  Not that expensive.  I keep one in trunk of the Ambo, just in case a show I go to should require one.  I have not had to display it yet.

Thanks for the information Doug. Most Appreciated. What is a big box store? I used to own a 1970 AMC Ambassador 4 door sedan. It was green and it was a 232 auto on the column.

Out of all the car shows I've ever been to only the AMC ones require a fire extinguisher , makes you wonder !

None of mine have ever caught on fire, yet.....

When I was in the AMO show, they required a fire extinguisher.  The AMCRC didn't, they must have more faith in AMC's!!

Thanks Doug. There is a Wal-Mart here in Kenosha that should have what I need for the show. -Matt.

Here in Ohio of all the car shows that I have attended in the last ten years all have required a fire extinguisher be placed behind the left rear tire. No extinguisher no show. Pretty simple rule in my opinion and a safe one.

Ever since I had a battery fire in my 70 AMX back when I was in high school, I've always carried a fire extinguisher in the cars I care about. Seems like pretty cheap insurance. Having said that, I've never seen anyone check for an extinguisher at the Kenosha show.

I am going to buy a fire extinguisher for the show and to have in my 79 Pacer while I drive around in Kenosha. Speaking of driving around in Kenosha:
I was driving down 22nd avenue in Kenosha yesterday, and a 79 Spirit AMX pulled into the gas station right in front of me. It was white with all the flares and spoilers with chrome wheels, not the factory Turbocast 11's. I pulled into the gas station, but the dude in the Spirit AMX pulled right into the mechanic's bay and then the door closed.
I laughed happily to myself, and continued on my journey
