I found a 1981 AMC Eagle Sport in a junkyard in Detroit.  It spent it's life in Hamtramck (outside of Detroit)  Not too bad of shape!  Can't believe it! Trying to get as much as possible off it; may try and get the front clip, if I ever might need it (I hope not)

I appreciate it!!! NE Ohio cars are VERY hard to keep decent....I can honestly say though that only one car I have ever had has ended up with more rust than it started...my 01 Continental developed some on the doors, but all the others usually got better. I am very particular with keeping them washed. My Eagle definitely has some cancer...a lot of it was fixed when in PA, but I still have to fix a few things. I would love to not drive it in this crap...but it is also one of the best winter cars I have ever driven...so...yeah, it gets driven. If I ever bought a pristine one like Prafeston's old Woodie...I would reserve that to look nice...mine is more of a workhorse. I really need like 5 cars, lol.
My list of my cars/toys (or toys at my disposal!)

1985 AMC Eagle Sportwagon
2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 4Matic
1993 Mercedes-Benz 500SL
2016 Triumph Bonneville
1962 Cruisers Inc Mahogany Outboard

I like to to tell people my Eagle is like a Ferrari. It's quirky, tempermental, border-line exotic, and something you don't see everyday.  See? Makes perfect sense....

A little bit late, but what we lose in rust, we trade off in no Emissions checks.  though it's defiantly not a fair trade.

HI.....A BAD DAY WITH YOUR EAGLE IS BETTER THAN A GOOD DAY AT WORK ...A GOOD DAY WITH YOUR EAGLE IS PRICELESS

There are Eagles lovers and there are the uneducated and the best we can do
with them is try to EDUCATED them on the virtues of the BEUTEFULL cars that we drive   ...................don
