Name that front end part

I'm going thru and redoing the entire suspension in my Eagle and it appears that I need 1 more piece. Rubber bushing that supports the cross bolt for the shock/spring mount at the upper control arm. Appears to be completely shot.

Can I press a new bushing in or is it part of the shock/spring mount?

Appears to have been a kit at one time.  I don't know if they are still available but It might worth a shot checking it out.

They used to be out there at a reasonable price under the part number 15151 (various brands) until that *&^%$#@ Rare Parts brand got their hooks into them and quadrupled the price.  Now they are about $45-$55 each!!

That's crazy! I was thinking it was like an $8 part. I've got the entire front end out of my car at the moment but I'm out of funds so it's gonna have to wait. Looks like I get to take the springs out all over again...Yay

How much do these affect the alignment?

IMHO the effect on alignment is piddly at most.   Its more of a noise and ride quality thing.

That's what I was thinking too but it never hurts to double check. Looks like I know what next weekend's project is.
