I never realized these things were so rare.  I haven't even been checking the Eagles in the junk yard to see if they have them.  Of course, shipping costs  would be kind of a killer....

I took pics of the plate. They are on the page before this.

Here it is on my old car that didn't come with it stock.

There are supposed to be 4 Torx bolts that hold it on on the bottom, but only 2 were tapped on my non-skid plate Eagle. Those two are tapped because they hold the other mini skid plate that should be on all Eagles. Not sure what it protects over there on the passenger side.

Here it is on the Eagle I took it off of. An '83 Woody Wagon Limited. Just like my other one, but this one had the skid plate option.

These things are much more than skid plates.  They collect fluids dripping from your engines (oil, coolant, etc.) and also are sure to catch the tools you drop - and its not always easy retrieving them   :rotfl: :rotfl:

Yep, they collect quite a bit of grime over the years. Which is why I took a wire wheel to mine.

I initially just scraped of what I could with a puddy knife.

It would be nice if it would cover the radiator as well.

This skid plate is on my 1983 Eagle Limited. Nice too, but I was wondering if one of you recognizes this version as original equipment? Any idea?

Not really something I'd think to look for on an eagle.  I like the one on your wagon a lot.
