I'm sorry to hear that. You've been a big help here to me and other members and I'd like to say thank you for all that you have done. Me and everyone else will miss having you around. You have the prayers of me and my dad.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with Jim or Caroline? He hasn't been on here since the 24th and I sent him an email with no reply.

Hello, my name is Ben Sherr.  Jimmie Smith (Jim on this board) was my stepdad.  Jimmie passed away on May 7th.  Thank you to all who sent your prayers and thoughts his way.  His Eagles are still in Little Rock and still for sale.  My mom and Uncle Pat aren't the most computer active folks you ever met, so if you want to get in touch with them, please contact me on this board or @ 804-894-2744.  I'll give you what info I can and get you in touch with them if needed.  Thanks to all.

Mr. Sherr please send me a message with an address to reach Carolyn. I want to send my condolences. Jim was one of my favorite people and I truly enjoyed hanging out with Jim and Carolyn at the meet I hosted as well as the one in Iowa.

To Jim's family: So sorry to read of his passing. May the family be comforted in the knowledge of the regard at which he was held here on this forum, and the thoughts and prayers of me and others who have posted at this time of loss. Thanks to you, Mr. Sherr, for letting us know. :eagle:

I didn't see this until just now. This is such a loss, there are no words. Jim was a great, knowledgeable and helpful Man. He will be missed, the eagle world will not be the same.
I Don't know why. But everybody's always talking about their STI or That guys EVO, I think I'll stick with my old, but reliable AmC. Did I ever tell you I was Full blooded Eagle?

I'm sure Jim found that @ door sedan he always wanted just waiting for him up there. I just found out today and I used to chat with him about mine. A great guy!
