My beloved Eagle is now for sale with pics
« on: June 05, 2013, 10:21:50 AM »
Dear eaglesnest colleagues,

I regret to post this after 30 years of owner ship my 1983 Eagle SX4 has to be put up for sale due to hard times.

I am the original owner who would wax and shine it every weekend- it was my first brand new car. I thought I could keep it forever. The eagle is a 6cy, automatic with ~ 120k original miles. The transmission was rebuilt at ~80K. I changed the oil every 3,000 miles. It is a fantastic vehicle always very reliable. It is in good condition and has never been in an accident. It has been sitting for a while so it will need a battery.
I want it to go to someone who appreciates it and will take care of it. I even bought an SX4 parts car "just in case" I needed it- but never have. You can have that with it. To me this car is priceless but I will ask $1,500.00 for this rare find but please make me an offer (times are hard).  I have all the paperwork including the original owner's manual. We are located in New York just outside of NYC. Please contact me at [email protected].
My heart is truly broken.
I am having difficulty posting the pictures- I wanted to post them here if someone could tell me how.
Until then email me and I will send you the pictures- it is what AMC called "vintage red" metalflake.

I think his original post indicates he is just outside of New York City.  Hope you can get this one, it looks great!

Just curious, how is that chit chat?  .... seems like contextual dialog to me

(I mean no offense, just have had a number of my posts deleted in this section and would like to better understand.   Thanks!)

Rob's and Dave's posts above are fine. There were 6 other posts I deleted that didn't belong here. Only questions that are relevant to the sale to the seller and replies by the seller should be in the for sale section.
