Station wagon dash fit in an sx4?
« on: April 10, 2013, 10:59:52 PM »
 :help:
Does anyone know FOR SURE? Will a dash, crash pad, shelf, gauge cluster floor shifter, steering wheel, heater a/c control, from a station wagon fit in an sx4? The color is wrong but I'll paint it.
Thanks from Seattle

Yes, absolutely sure.

The gauge cluster option around the shifer will also work, but remember that a four cylinder manual shift handle will be one inch over and one inch up in comparison to the six cylinder shift handle. This affects the hole in the cluster.

The only potential snags you may encounter are having to cut or patch holes in the new dash depending on the presence or absence of a fog light switch, 2WD/4WD switch, and passenger side remote mirror control.

That sounds great, yea I've got both of those so it's better to cut than patch.
