been focusing on all the details on my 82 eagle wagon with the 258.........fixing that and rebuilding this... she runs ... but she has to move. has to switch places with another car in the garage.. only problem no dipstick in the transmission...i could order a new one but no time.... only if there was some wonderful beautiful eagle owner that would measure there dipstick so i could run and buy one of those universal ones at the auto parts store ....

i need over all length ... from seal to end and from end to full mark if that makes any sense :help:
74 beetle (daily driver)
72 beetle (my first love)
69 beetle (in progress)
83 cb 450 honda pimped out bub style (in progress)
my new and lovely 82 eagle 4 door

Not all dipsticks are equal. The tubes vary in size so its a matching set.

Get a pair from a Dodge (I like the van set up. The stick barely fits under the hood and comes 1/2 way up the length of the motor)
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!
