replacement 4wd coloured vacuum line
« on: October 13, 2011, 04:27:49 PM »
Greetings.

I was wondering if there is any interest in replacement coloured vacuum line for the 4wd system (the red and yellow stuff) and also the black. This would be sold by the foot. If there is any interest then let me know by posting in this thread.

If there is sufficient interest in this product here and some other amc forums then it will be properly posted in the for sale section.

Max.

I think it would be a great idea if I could at least figure out the order they go into those little vaccuum motors before replacing them. I can't just go by the unique ends that go on one end of the line. The color coding is a necessary identification device for when one of these little terrors break free of the front vaccuum assembly. This is why I will never go with an all black color scheme. Sadly, I seem to have a much bigger problem trying to replace a little rubber vent that broke a few days ago. If you had any of those that would be great too.

I would really like for someone to put together a vacuum hose kit with the proper size, length and color code to re-plumb the 4X4 system according to Gronk's directions.  I would pay more than the per-foot price for someone else to do the hard part - the thinking.
