SX/4 Under-dash tray isn't secure
« on: September 05, 2011, 12:05:20 AM »
How does one mount the long tray that runs under the dash?  I see two holes on either end that would mount to the side of the vehicle in front of the doors, but no screws will thread.  Are these jackson-style screws or something else?  Are there some sort of threaded clips that must be installed behind the trim that I may be missing?  Thanks!

I'll double check.  I didn't have a flashlight when I tackled that.

And 2x2 more holes a feet or so off-centre.
They are self tapping screws, with a hex head.

Thanks for the diagram Doug.  I have a package tray to install that came with no hardware, now I have a better idea of how to mount it.

You are welcome.  That is what is so helpful about the parts books in the Eaglepedia.
