This is kind of a random interior post.

There was a post in the cars for sale section and the car had power everything including power seats...but they were cloth. I didn't want to hijack the guys post thus I made this one. Doug (IowaEagle) informed me that some earlier Limited models were available with "St Lauren deep plus fabric". I had heard about the fabric alternative in the limiteds but until seeing that post I really hadn't put much thought into it....Now I'm intrigued!! Does anyone here own a cloth seat limited or better yet have some pics of them...I'm really curious about these illusive things now.

I've seen two 1980 Eagles with this interior.  Unfortunately both sightings were in the yard.  :(

In both cases the interior was a mix of beige and brown, with the plush seating surfaces being beige.  I could see it looking great when new, but man would it get dingy looking fast... and hard to clean I bet.

Was that stuff kinda like velour? It sure sounds nice!

I believe so.  AMC used a variety of fabric names in the early '80's, and 70's.  I like the corduroy versions, but I don't think they were in Eagle's.

I think the last year for Levi was 78 or 79...I dont think they made it into the 80's...I heard somewhere on the internet a while back that AMC had considered doing and acid wash jean thing in the early 80's but I have never found any facts  on the nest or the internet to back that up.
