Hey guys. im doing some wiring with my aftermarket guage. I need to find the color wire for the factory dash lights so i can wire in my guage light.. it seems to be a orange wire from the schematics, am i right on this one? thanks

well.. that didnt work the way i wanted it too.. couldnt seem to get that wire to work. i just had a wire climp on it to try it and i got nothing.. so i guess ill just rig up a switch instead. thanks though

well with my finger holding it to ground. lol. i got it all wired in except the illumination wire. ill try again one more.. maybe if i have to ill take out the lower tray and cluster out to find it better. i was just trying wires in the engine bay by the firewall

I think there is a blue wire dangling behind the radio, that is switched as soon as the lights are turned on. I think that was for old fasioned radios with external light connection.
