I found rockers
« on: November 26, 2012, 11:20:06 AM »
Place is in Canada and has a lot of AMC parts listed, that included rocker panels for the 2 door Eagle. Site said 41 called and quoted me like 50 for them. Sounded friendly and I mentioned the nest and how we needed steel.

Check it out and maybe if we can express enough interest can get really good deal Hope I've placed this in the right spot an It's a useful vendor.

I just bought rockers for the sx4 we are working on from rock auto , they only have a few left, maybe 4 or 5 of each side. They were 32 each but shipping was high since they are long and difficult to ship. But still not bad for a brand new part

I had a place in Calgary make mine from Scratch.  It's the only place I could find locally.

I'm about ready to either clean up what is left of my outer rockers, clean the inner rockers REAL well and fiberglass it. I can only imagine what I shop would charge to make and install new ones. I have zero welding experience, nor anywhere to try to do it. My inner rockers are actually in really good shape except the very most ends, but the outers are completely shot.
My list of my cars/toys (or toys at my disposal!)

1985 AMC Eagle Sportwagon
2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 4Matic
1993 Mercedes-Benz 500SL
2016 Triumph Bonneville
 1962 Cruisers Inc Mahogany Outboard

I like to to tell people my Eagle is like a Ferrari. It's quirky, tempermental, border-line exotic, and something you don't see everyday.  See? Makes perfect sense....
