if the frame is in good shape then 7800 is a pretty fair price cause lord knows when we will see another listed for sale

What were the production numbers on a sundancer?
I've heard 3000 but that number is more or less depending on what you read.

I think the consensus is less then 200. Including the Concord 'Dancers the number is around 500. No records were kept but that is the best guesses from those in the know.

The last one I saw on the net for sale went for 14,500 it was cherry with less than 15k miles. That thing could be restored...nicely....for around 5 or 6 ,grand asuming it is relativly rust free,  so in my opinion considering its historic value and just the rarity of it  that price does not seem too out of line. I look at it like this, an old camaro or mustang convertible...in similar condition, that were produced in much higher numbers goes for 15-20 grand and they wont get you around in a foot of snow.

Somone had posted some pictures of a Sundancer on here a year or two ago.  If I remember correctly had had 30-40 thousand on it and was in good shape although some of the mechanicals weren't in great shape.  He started out asking $13000 for it and eventually got $5500 or $5800 for it on Ebay.

I think the asking price is a good starting point.   I have no idea what it should be priced.   Maybe it will have to go lower before it actually sells... who knows...

If the car had low miles, and was in great driving condition, then I'd say mid to high teens is pretty fair.  But don't forget that the economy is in the crapper right now, and selling bigger ticket items are getting harder.

A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

I think I also remember someone selling a Sundancer and starting out at about the low teens here at the nest, and then it going lower till in was in around $8000.  I have no idea if it got sold or not.

I think it's the same one priya is talking about.

That's the one I was talking about.  It eventually sold on ebay for $5500 or $5800, I don't remember exactly, but it was under $6000

Too true guys...it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If I was pullin down a 6 figure income I would buy that thing in a heartbeat....but i can wish in one hand and....well you know the rest :P.... The good thing is at that price it wont go to someone who just wants a cheap beater....if it does sell it will almost certainly be someone who really wants the thing....Its one of those cars...either you want it so bad you can taste it, or you could care less about it...no grey areas with this one.
