Spotted 2 Eagles!
« on: May 30, 2011, 12:45:09 PM »
In the Grand Rapids, MI area. Both were white wagons. One is an 85 with trailer hitch and pretty much stock. I talked to the guy as he was walking into the party store and he was pretty knowledgeable. Very easy to talk to especially since I caught him off guard! He told me he had 6 Eagles over the course of time and he really loves them. I told him about the forum and he seemed excited to check it out. He knew about it but couldn't remember the name. Glad to help him out!

The 2nd was on the highway and looked to be an 87 or 88 white wagon since it had the rear wiper on the hatch. Looked original and fully loaded with hitch, roof racks and fog lights on the front bumper. Really nice looking Eagle! My daughter grabbed a couple of pictures of it which I'll post later. The guy looked a litttle surprised that someone took his picture on the highway!

If either of you guys are on the forum, nice Eagles! I hope to see you around again sometime. Maybe we should all get together since I have a white SX/4 and have a little gathering.

My 84's previous owner had it ordered from teh factory. The Eagle came with rear wiper, but not a rear defogger. Strikes me as ODD!
