Got the Eagle Itch again yesterday! Picked up a 1986 Limited with 82,000 original miles on it. Drove it home 100 miles with no problems. My kid won't be driving this one!!! He totaled my "85 wagon a few years ago. All this fun again for 1/10th of what it cost new...LOL Black with Gold pinstripes....nice combo :occasion14:

Thanks,the rims are staying but methinks I'll be getting different tires and lowering it a bit as time and money allow.

I personally think that is the sharpest looking color combo...that black on gold looks really classy. Congradulations on an incredible find!

That's a big x2 on the wheel covers.  I'd pop those bad boys off and frisbee them as soon as I got home.  Get yourself a set of correct original wheel covers, or better yet, a set of factory alloys.

Please do us all a favor and don't go nuts modifying that thing - a car like that should be preserved as close to stock as possible.  Maybe some underhood upgrades to increase performance, but other than that... no touchy!  ;D  My opinion of course.

I don't plan on any major mods...just gonna keep it stock other then a few things under the hood. Maybe do the body work and repaint it the same combo as it is...Black with Gold pinstripes I bought the Collins Brothers Valve cover kit off a forbidden website yesterday...79.95 + shipping. It should be here for the big Labor Day weekend...I know what I'll be doing!!! :hello2: and  :occasion14:
