Wow! How about that? A salesman actually SELLING a car! I've gone into car dealerships before to buy a car and I've gone in there knowing SO MUCH MORE than the salesperson! I've actually been quite surprised about HOW LITTLE they often seem to know about the car they are trying to get me to buy. Seems like nowadays, they come out from the building with the papers in hand, waving them at you saying something lame like "So, what will it take to get you into this car today?". This sales guy was very impressive to me because he was smooth without being pushy or "smarmy" and he KNEW about the product he was selling. He involved the customer. (Asking about his activities, and his kids and addressing if they would fit comfortably in the car, asking if his wife and himself would prefer the automatic over the stick, etc.) It was interesting as someone else had mentioned, sort of stepping back in time to see what real people were like and what they were thinking, etc. Seeing "new" AMC's was also very cool too!
