Non Eagle, but is replacing one
« on: March 07, 2011, 01:08:41 AM »
Interestingly enough my son commented today, after spending the week driving his new car, my son commented that all the controls for everything were in the same place as in his Eagle Wagon.

Wellll, perhaps I should back up and explain what's happening... my bud in Denver has a KILLER 87 Cherokee Chief 2 door XJ that he has done LOTS of work on, timing chain, rebuilt the rear end, soundproofed the interior... all kinds of stuff.  Check out the cool pics!

I was planning on putting EFI and an overdrive on his 88 Eagle Wagon when this deal popped up I realized that it was easier to buy this and will allow me to take time to fix the Wagon right.  I bought a 228 to drop in it but need to figure out a vibration issue and then I will drive it anywhere in the country... hopefully will do this over kids Spring Break and then put the Wagon up for sale.

You have to admit this is a pretty cool XJ!  (keeping my Kammbacks and maybe one SX4)

Have a great week! Don't hate me!

Thanks!  It's the 4.0/AW4/231 combo.  Hoping to swap in a 242 before next winter to give it some on road 4WD capabilities.  Drove it yesterday and it is really nice!

Have a great week,

Jesse
