Metal valve cover??

Are there any old Amcs that came with a metal valve cover cause I am planning to make my own custom valve cover I am planing to get one Crome plated then I no a guy that will do laser ingraving for cheap and am going to get eagle ingraved into with a design in the background I thought it would look really nice

1980 and older Inline 6's used stamped steel covers.  They will not mount to an AMC head from 1981 and forward.

1987 and up had aluminum valve covers on them. You could nab a cylinder head off of an old YJ or CJ if you wanted to use one of those, they were 12 bolt for more sealing, I prefer those over the aluminum covers you can get for the 82'-86' models with 7 bolts.
