I definitely do not use a powerbuffer at all for finishing buffing. I hand apply and handwipe/buff all of it. It's extremely relaxing, and as many wrenches as I've turned on that car and in general, it's a nice workout for the carpals :)

It was that real pretty burgundy AMC had...I loved that color but oddly I hardly ever see it...even in the 80's the majority of the ones I saw were the browns whites and blues.

HI Shane guess what my 1982 is burgundy with black in side . I fell in love with it when i saw it .i bout it with out seeing it .I went to joliet ill to pick it up with a trailer..pretty car......... :amc:.........Don

Oh man!! Ive always wanted one in that color scheme!! Its rare to find one with the black interior...infact i think 82 or 83 was the last year it was available. I soooo wish I could find one!!


by the way...Have you seen that burgundy beauty for sale at "Trovit motors in milbanks SD." Its on the web. Its a coupe and they want almost 11,000 dollars for it! Id probably buy it if I was a bit richer ;D
