Rollguy,

So since you seem to have a good knowledge of many leafs, which did you like the best? And I'm guessing you were going for different lift sizes...so how many inches were you getting with your setups.
I had a bunch of springs from different cars (the same width) laying around, so I built up a spring pack using 6 other leafs added to the main Eagle leaf.  I don't know how many inches it raised it from stock, but it raised it so the rear is the same height as the front.  


how did you get the bolt that holds all of the springs together loose.


Grinding wheel.
Make sure you C clamp the spring pack together before removing the center bolt (whatever method you choose).

I used Eagle wagon springs with the main leaf from my SPirit when I did the Eagle axle swap.
AMC/Jeep gauges are for amusement only. Any correlation between them and reality is purely coincidental!

I haven't done  a lift on an Eagle(yet) but will be soon, not looking to go too tall, maybe 1-1.5 over factory after removing the spring sag.   I plan on doing the same that I've done on a few jeeps, in that world it's called a baTstard(lose the T) pack, my favorite method is to take an S10 spring pack, and use the main leaf with the loops cut off and insert that in the factory pack between  the main & #2 leafs.  On a Cherokee that's usually good for about 2", if I'm  looking for more I add more of the S10 leaves, or swap one of the factory leaves for an S10 leaf. Another option is Dakota or Durango springs(probably way too stiff here) as well as Isuzu Rodeo & Trooper springs(slightly narrow, but workable) Can't say personally, but I hear that Ranger & Exploder springs are also good doners
