Power Windows
« on: April 12, 2011, 09:53:44 AM »
I had an idea lately, as I am tired of reaching back to roll my windows down. I was wondering if it's possible to install the switches, regulators, and electrical from an 83 power window 4-door sedan into an 85 manual window 4-door wagon.  I can get all the necessary parts from a local junk yard for $50.  Just wondering if this is possible, I know how much work it will be as I have done window swaps before, just need to know if everything will hook up to an existing spot in the harness, of if I'll have to run new wiring from the controls to the battery.

If you have all of the guts from the PW car doors you should be able to do so.
