How is the door gasket attached?
« on: June 12, 2011, 05:44:26 PM »
Or, as Chilton calls it, rubber sealer.
How is it fastened to the door?  Is it glued, or does it have some sort of clips?
I'm right 98% of the time, and I don't care about the other 3%.

I still haven't found a source for new door gaskets.  I can certainly use used ones if I don't find new ones, but I would prefer new ones.

I emailed amcrambler asking about them but haven't received a reply.
I looked at Kennedy but didn't see them.  I usualyl call him for parts but haven't done it yet.

I asked about how they attach in case I want to reuse the ones I have when I swap doors.   I wondered if I could remove them with damaging them.  I have a parts car but it is stored elsewhere and I don't know if those are usable.
