Blazer or s10 axle shaft swap

Ok so I am planning to lift my eagle and I have heard that you can use S10 or blazer axle shafts to get some more lIft out of the stock suspension has anyone ever done this is it even possible??

Not going to help in any with a lift. They are overall the same axle. couple very minor differences which will not hinder interchangeing. They are the same length so doesn't do ank thing.

I think you may be referring to S10 leaf springs. I know in the Jeep world, leaves from an S10 leaf pack are used to add lift to stock springs. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/f51/s10-springs-inconsiderate person-pack-1380/ I used a couple leaves on each side from a pair of front packs from a Grand Wagoneer.
